Blessings

I was trying to come up with an idea for a card for my child's horse friends this morning!  Not perfect but it is a start!  :)
Stamps:  serendipity and PSX
Dies:  IO, Cherry Lynn and Marian.

Stamped PSX Horses first, embossed with clear powder, colored with alcohol markers( marvey, copic and spectrum noir); then applied this cool product; Micro Glaze over the image.

then stamped the farm scene; colored it with alcohol markers too!

Thanks for looking and have a Happy December 1st!

I'm hoping to enter in the Serendipity challenge;  SSCLInk

IO Christmas Greeting Challenge

Impression Obsession...or addiction!  :)  My friend called the other day to remind me of the online sale at Impression Obsession.  I'm not a on line buyer;  last time was a year a go for this sale!  I really like going to an actual store!  But this on line buying is pretty cool!  So many awesome products!  So many stamps and dies that I would love to have!   But want and "need" are 2 words that I always have to question myself! :)  So again IO, Thank you for all the great inspirations and awesome product!  Love your product!

So on with production, I wanted to try my luck at this challenge that IO is putting on.

Christmas cards: Hot of the Press

All of these inexpensive clear stamps by Hot off the press, can be found at Nika's in Windsor, NS.

My Elf card is horrible!  I really don't like it!  But it was fun to make!  Always fun playing with glitter!

Thanks for looking!

Have a great day!

Get well card

Not a great picture!  But I love this stamp!  (don't know the manufacture!)  The sentiment is from Great Impressions!  The image was stamped with black versafine and embossed with chocolate brown embossing powder by stampendous.  The teenager that I made this card for, is a true "hurtin' puppy!"  They will have their jaw wired shut for 4  months!  I wished we could protect our children from all of life's bumps and bruises!  I try by worrying! :)  But not very productive or healthy!

Happy Thanksgiving to our family and friends in the USA!

Thanks for looking!

Serendipity: Barn

I needed to make a card for my cousin so I thought I would try this stamp;  1145K Barn and windmill by serendipity.  I used lots of glitter glue after I colored the image with a combination of spectrum noir and Marvy markers.   The sentiment was also by serendipity stamps.

I would like to enter this card in the challenge at Serendipity stamps;

"SSCB#37 - Thankful! This could be a card or home decor project to celebrate Thanksgiving, a thank you card, or a design featuring an image of something you're thankful for!"
http://serendipitystampschallengeblog.blogspot.ca/2014/11/sscb37-thankful.html

I am thankful for living in the country! :) This barn reminds me of my dad's home.  (Wished we had a windmill too!)
Thanks for looking.
Best wishes to all those entered in this challenge!

ink for stamping:  Archival: coffee

cuttlebug leaf die,
leaf punches
2 embossing folders

I went a little over board with the markings in the punched leaves!  And not sure I like the wheel barrel!  I think some of the large cut out leaves would have been better choice!   Love this orange card stock!  I think it is called "silk" . It was Fun making this card even if I find lots of faults in it!  :)  Happy November and good luck to all those entering in the Serendipity challenge.  Thanks for looking!

Card Day

A couple of weeks ago I went and made cards with a half dozen ladies and a gentleman!  It was a lot of fun!  I think they enjoyed the "process" but I have lots to learn!  Going again next month planning to do Christmas cards!

Here are my card samples.  One I colored with ink and the other I colored with caulks.  Quick!  :) less than 5 minutes!
image stamped with black versafine and embossed with black embossing powder.

The image is from IO;
it is my Mom's stamp!  She purchased it from the store in Windsor;  Nika's.

Yesterday, she came home with the large poinsettia die!  Can't wait to share it!  It matches my small poinsettia die!  :)  Thanks for looking!  Have a great day!

Belated Happy Thanksgiving!

They say life is only as busy as you make it!  Time just goes so quick! It seems I'm always in a hurry because I guess I don't want to miss out on anything!  Life is short,  and I'm trying to not wasting a minute!

So my apologises for all the mistakes in my postings!

I'm thankful for so very many things;  but the top is my family and friends.  I know that I am very lucky to have the wonderful life that I have!

This stamp can be found at Nika's in Windsor.
My red coloring looks really "off"  in the picture but I guess if I had of took the picture in natural light it would be better!  :)  But it is/was dark out!
Next week I'm planning to go share this paper craft with some seniors.  Hoping to brighten their day!

I made these cards on the weekend!  It has been a busy week so far here and not seeing it letting up till likely next wednesday!  I down loaded my camera tonight to get ready for a wedding on the weekend.  So thought I would post what I have now....quick  :) !

 IO stamp
Kaiser craft stamp and stampendous:  this one the light really doesn't show up the layers!

I likely will add a Happy birthday die or Thinking of you die cut ......so not quite finished!
The stamp was Kaiser Craft.....the wreath was my friends;  don't remember the brand!  Sorry!
First you lose your sight.....then goes the mind!  So my son reminds me!  :)

I liked this!  These were square pattern papers from Kaiser Craft!  So this paper and many others can be found at Nika's in Windsor!

Stampendous stamp:  Kaiser craft paper

I have had this housemouse stamp for a while......it is so cute!  I like how it is colored!  It is shinny in real life!  It was painted with shimmer paints.....again not sure which ones were used!  I found it in a box of pattern paper all colored but not mounted into a card!  So it maybe that I didn't do it!  But 95% sure I did!  :)  if not,  it was a friend!  I'll double check!

I have a number of twinking H2O but I also have these awesome mica color water paints that I got last Christmas (from Nika's) and smooch.....so likely a combination of all!

Have a great week and weekend!  Thanks for looking.
