New stamps

Took another lesson last week at our local Art store!  Learned lots!  Awesome value for anyone that lives close to Windsor NS, Canada!

came home with 3 sets of Kaiser stamp sets,  pens,  card bases, 8 Fantastic sticks,  8 Brilliance inks...love them!  and lots more!  and we go back for more lessons!

cleaning

I should have taken a before picture and an after picture!  I have a weakness for wooden boxes!  I purchased these many years ago with the intentions to paint them and likely give them away!  Last year I dug them out from my storage container and started to use them in my paper craft organization.  They worked well with organizing my many toys!  So I decided this year to pretty them up with paint!  It has been a very long time since I used my brushes and tole paints! I'm not a great base coater;  and some of the boxes were from the dollar store so not so perfect....but now they are so much more attractive than plain old boxes! 

so I have paints in one, inkagold in another.....flowersoft in another...pigments in the last one!  and 3 bottles of paint gone!  :)  Using what I have!  Makes me happy!  My clutter is getting slowly organized and spring is here!

 started raking today!  snow piles in the driveway are almost gone!

Between learning my new OP system(s) on my computer and dog stuff in Feb/March, card/crafts took a back burner....just wasn't in the mood!

Spring Cleaning

 I purchased this poly clay many years ago!  Was inspired back then to try when watching one of Faye's demos!  But never got around to doing/trying!  so with cleaning/ and our spring that has not come... trying to use what I have!

This stamp set (rose) is one of the two sets that I came home with when I took my beginner course!  Awesome value for anyone that takes the courses at Nika's in Windsor.  You come home with stamps; ink; blending tools; colored pencils; card blanks; and more!  And learn lots!

Clear sets of stamps, have never been my prefered choice when it comes to stamps but they are now growing on me!  This one I have used so much since I got it!

Serendipity Stamps Challenge: Challenge #29 - Stitches!

We are having an ice mess outside today so get to play inside!  Winter just won't move on!  so made this card! 

Wanted to use this stamp set.. brought it hummm.... likely 6 years a go...tried to come up with  a plan!  played/tried alcohol inks; packing tape stamping technique....think I would have liked it if I had of stamped the image in brown instead of black!  so that never made it to a card! But it was entertaining to try!

Have not been doing well with this crafting habit; even took a beginners class to get me motivated again!  (which was awesome; learned lots!  Nika's in Windsor)

Anyway trying!  Not the best attempt but like this new fold idea! Colored with pencils....

Another Serendipity stamp

Made a quick card this morning before the bus went!  So quick post too!  Need to clean up the mess here and then go pick up ice cream cake into Windsor!!!.... 

 This is the stamp that "pulled my arm" to place the order at Serendipity stamps!  Like it lots too!  love scenery stamps! 

 stamped the 116LUM Buck in "coffee" -   Ranger Archival ink

cheery lynn happy birthday die as always!  Use it LOTS!  Guess I need a new one soon!  Used my Scotch glue to put the sentiment on this time so not quite as messy as last night's card!

Happy Birthday

My package came!  My order from serendipity stamps! Thank you Serendipity stamps! 

So I was inspired to use my new toys to make my son's birthday card!  Love my new stamps! 

This stamp reminds me of my childhood!  Many days we spent at the lake rowing the boats! 
The dragonfly was in a grab bag;  love it too!
